Once again, I failed to send a holiday card to anyone, which may account for the few I received. But I will take this opportunity--at year's end and in the midst of Winter Break--to craft a virtual card comprised of my favorite images since school started three months ago. Three months ago....when it was warm and dry....leaves were still green....new students were just back from Orientation and returning students were doing their thing.
Back in those days, classes posed for yearbook photos.
Days were longer then, but they seemed shorter, somehow.
We quickly got down to work.
By the first week in October, the air was cool, leaves were in autumn color, and the water in Elbow Pond was chilly.
