A tornado watch failed to dampen spirits for Reunion 2010, which proceeded without a raindrop. Those who arrived early enjoyed a campus tour that featured stops at facilities constructed over the past twenty years.
The renovation of the stone chapel for voice programs, and Slocumb Hall for photography, visual arts and ceramics reflect a huge advancement of the arts in the lives of Proctor students over the years. This trend is most evident at the school's recording studio (2005) which is over-the-top.
Much of the afternoon is left unstructured for pick-up frisbee games, woodland walks and informal socializing.
With the heat of the afternoon, a crowd gathers at the swim dock on Elbow Pond. This hidden gem on the east end of Proctor property (the former site of Ragged Lake summer camp,) offers seclusion, great swimming and breath-taking views of Ragged Mountain.
At five-thirty, a reception begins on the patio in front of Cannon Dining Room. This is a chance for alumni to reconnect with former teachers and advisors.
