Commencement 2010 was completed in sunny, dry conditions on Farrell Field. First, however, we go back to Senior Dinner, which packed the fieldhouse with close to a thousand friends of the class.

oth the dinner and graduation exercises were live streamed to hundreds who could not be present. These shows are available for your enjoyment online: Senior Dinner and Commencement.

Saturday morning at 10:30 sharp, seniors marched from Alice's Garden into the immense tent on Farrell Field.

his year's Commencement was notable for the superior addresses delivered by student speakers. Each speech was thoughtful, loving and very well constructed. Also notable was the emotional, final performance of Proctor's longest-lasting band, Pillbug Light Reaction.

he presentation of diplomas was expedited by Dean of Faculty Karl's Methven's recitation of names, and suddenly, it was over.

In his Commencement Address, orthopedic surgeon Dr. Michael Sparks reflected on the relationship between teaching and lifelong learning. Dr. Sparks is familiar with the inner workings of several graduates' knees!
