Most students depart campus for the summer Thursday at noon, while seniors enjoy a bonding experience at Six Flags. Backing up a bit: The student body gave faculty a standing ovation in assembly Tuesday afternoon.

Those seniors who have been dedicated to Senior Projects this month have completed them, and little remains except.... oh, yes....graduation. The Alumni Office hosted an "Almost An Alum" dinner party at Bluewater Lodge overlooking Bradley Lake.

This event was fully catered, and offered great barbecue ribs, grilled chicken, corn, assorted salads and desserts.

Several alumni spoke, congratulating seniors in advance, and urging them to use electronic social media to stay connected with the school and with one another.

The setting--just a mile from school--is stunning, but light rain kept us indoors most of the time.

This is bound to be one of the school's most loyal classes in history. It is comprised of great characters, character and leadership.

Dinner over, we hung out on the porch for shuttle buses.

Senior Project Review kept us entertained after Tuesday's assembly. Blair made a set of exquisite ceramic pieces.

Dylan admired Andrew's poetry.

Gregor Makechnie spoke to seniors of his transition to alumni status.
Chris and Mike are certain about their immediate futures: they're back at Proctor next year!
Not so for Duncan and Walker, who are pondering the uncertainties ahead.
Linsley may have a future in exterior design!
Allegra's Senior Project display provided graphic images of pets being neutered, kitties and puppies under the knife, and even some bloody testicles on a table. She observed that only males seem bothered by the sight....
Erik hates having his picture taken, so I took it. His project was called "Chuck's Corner" because he blogged along side me; (see Student Voices).
Andrew and Chris constructed the world's finest surfboards.
