We dedicate a whole day to special programs in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. It starts, of course, with a whole-school assembly at which the chorus belted out the spiritual "Who Will Be a Witness For My Lord?"
Two blocks of time were dedicated to dozens of workshops and activities offered by faculty. The variety of subjects was impressive. This group is practicing relaxation prior to yoga.
Sessions studied and discussed films and documentaries exploring ethics, choices and the human spirit.
One group fashioned a quilt entitled "Hands Together."
Another group loaded the forestry truck with firewood for delivery to a deserving family in the village.
Thanks to Deven, Rosemary, Jeremy and Amanda for help with the day's photography!
