Our football team's loss to Hotchkiss simply demonstrates the strength of a Bearcat team that has crushed opponents with an average score differential of 37-6. Our pride in both Proctor's football and field hockey teams is untouched, because these are the best teams (in these sports) the school has ever had.

Spirit Week was awesome.... somewhat detached from specific athletic contests.... just a celebration of school spirit. These tummies spell part of the word "sophomore."

Captains of the field hockey team expressed their appreciation for school support throughout their great season.

Friends of Saam gather after assembly:

If you look carefully at the image below, you'll notice Danny's feet soaring above the senior-sophomore tug-of-war contest. He was standing on the rope--telling the teams to wait for his countdown. When he got to "one!" the teams yanked the line before he got off, so he became a human arrow, launched above us all.

Friday night's bonfire brought students from a whole set of arts shows and performances. The fire was ignited by captains of the field hockey and football teams.

We have had great football teams before, but never a team with the talent, cohesion and dedication of the 2008 squad. They may have not won the New England championship, but we know what they accomplished.

A great fall term comes to an end!

The next Chuck's Corner will probably appear on Wednesday, as I will be out of state for a few days......
School spirit!
Go, PA!
