Today's page takes us from academic classrooms to the dumpsters. After all, students are cranking through Advanced Placement exams, being inducted into the National Honor Society and recycling. Lee Carvalho sets up Emma with a problem set for the chalkboard.

In algebra 2, Spencer and Chris work at the whiteboard.

In chemistry, Ian Hamlet introduces a lab on the pH scale, here plopping a couple of Tums into acid water.

In assembly, we inducted five new members into the Allan S. Bursaw Chapter of the National Honor Society.

Congratulations to Taylor, Jessica, Ben, Irene and Danielle.

As soon as Saturday morning's class ends, teams of advisees tour dorms and classroom buildings, collecting recyclables. We gather to sort and remove bottle caps (an irritation.)

The entire operation is run by students. The leader is Alex Duane (recently seen skateboarding in dangerous fashion,) who is pictured directing from the back of a trailor.

Emma calculates at the chalkboard.
A beaker of swirling water changes color as base and acidic substances are added.
We get to see what happens when you swallow Milk of Magnesia.
Henry recycles! You should, too!
While I sort bottles, Keegan commandeers my camera and takes a self-portrait in the rear-view mirror.
Keegan proceeds to take some strange pix. Orlando leans in my truck.
The eagle flies....
Keegan's strangely composed photo of Geordie.
When it comes to recycling, Alex is The Man.
At Jake's, Josh scores a steak and cheese while Keegan scours for sunflower seeds (for his baseball game.)
