This Intro to Lit class met on the lawn near the PAPA cart.
Meanwhile, the Pendleton brothers put on an impressive juggling clinic!
Team practices before lunch created time for Parent/Teacher Conferences all afternoon. Here's evidence that this is more than a "parent" weekend, as Mr. Julian gets a push from a loving brother:
Parent/Teacher Conferences ran all Friday afternoon. Student leaders washed cars in front of the stone chapel.
In the past, conferences were held Friday evening. This year, however, each dorm held a dessert social, with sweets provided by parents. This was a great success, as parents connected with their kids' closest friends and their parents. Then, we enjoyed a whole array of arts and performance activities.
Parents hovered close to the action as students painted, danced, sang, and--below--acted.
In the new recording studio, parents joined the jazz/rock band in the studio, while others observed operations in the sound room.
The next update to this site will appear Wednesday morning, with reflections from Saturday's activities and athletic contests.
