This campus is crawling with cameras. There's no escaping the lens. Brenda's running around for the yearbook; Robin's chasing sports; I'm covering everything else imaginable, and then there are the students....

Patrice has her usual team of photographers exposing film to light with all kinds of stunning artistic effects. Now, she is also teaching a digital photo-journalism course, confirming that the world has turned upside down. Whatever the film speed or pixelation, it is the visual muse that we honor.

Let's face it: digital photography is a numbers game. You take a couple of hundred photos a day, and a few of them are worth looking at.

Certainly, not all of them...
