Steve Wilkins announces his resignation effective June 30, 2005.
Today around sixty Proctor Academy faculty, staff, and trustees met in the Lovejoy Library to hear bittersweet news from Head of School Steve Wilkins.
It was a very emotional moment as Steve told his peers that he would be leaving Proctor at the end of the school year. He asked that there be no goodbyes or tears. “We have a whole year to live through.”
Steve said that he was committed to making this a great year for Proctor and that was met with applause and tearful hugs as he finished his announcement.
