Our calandar is the product of whole faculty consensus, and no one can remember why we decided to have the winter break begin tomorrow instead of last Friday. It doesn't matter. The forecast calls for the first of this year's Storms of The Century, so we're sending everyone home ASAP. Families visiting today had a special experience of Proctor: a community overcome with excitement, panic, and euphoria. After assembly announcements brought the community to a state of hysteria bordering on riot, our very talented Jazz/Rock band knocked down a few tunes with Max Eaton on rhythm and Gavin Kalan on lead guitars in front of an audienced ready to rave.
In the panic to get off campus before the Soltice Snows, Patrick Baldwin towed his luggage behind a scooter and before a logging truck in front of Thoreau.
He's sporting Tevas, of course.
The Goularts treated the Development Office folk for lunch. Here we are:
Left to right: Cathy, Keith, Bonny, Jay, Sara, Lou, Elvis, Chuck, Kate, Greg.
