As part of a weekend responsibility, I gladly drove a 13-person minibus this morning for a Sunday in Beantown. The drop-off was the corner between Quincy Market and the Holocaust Memorial. You would think that mountain bikers would go from Boston to New Hampshire, but the fact is that our cyclists heft their bikes to the city to enjoy the wonders of Government Center.

Boston in April is a riot of flowering fruit trees, tulips and tourists. Bewildered children cling to parents' hands heading for the majestic swanboats that ply the waters of the Public Gardens....swanboats that scatter both mallards and Canada Geese.

Studies in outstanding architecture: historic Trinity Church and the Hancocks:

You have to prostrate yourself next to all of the other photographers to get this shot of the father of our country with tulips:

In the four hours between drop off and pick up, I saw four clusters of Proctor students (some I had brought; others here on weekends,) proving that a city of 1,000,000 isn't big enough.
Proctor students? Yes, the zoom lens confirms Elliot and Jackson across Copley Square.
Proctor students on Newbury? Um... I don't think so...
