Some climatologists speculate that oxygen-producing flora dominate the globe for eons, followed by the eventual dominance of carbon dioxide-producing fauna (we must be at the climax of one of those cycles). At Proctor, we witness a different rhythm between species. Once upon a time, our campus was ruled by noble canines with names like Oliver, and Guinness, and Patra...dogs that considered cats to be the other white meat. Due to the passing--both timely and untimely--of several dogs recently, a new generation of puppies frolicks on our grounds, and bold cats rule.
