Trustees arrive today, and will work in small groups with students over dessert this evening--exploring our cutomers' perspectives on substantive issues. Here's one: our varsity teams aren't winning 50% of their games. Is our mission impacted by this? If we do want to attract student athletes...how? Some argue that renovating athletic facilities (say, Farrell Fieldhouse, for example...) is a pressing concern. Others note that Proctor excels in specific athletic areas: x/c running, ski jumping, boys' basketball (just watch them this winter!), cycling, kayaking, and of course: skateboarding and mountainbiking.

Hunter Churchill has this unicycling trick. He's never gotten hurt doing it, but bystanders are at considerable risk:

Whitney has no problem getting some attention on the board.
He does this thing where he jumps off the wall outside the dining room. You think kids at Holderness can do this?!
