The dress code is suspended for Halloween here, and some frightening things are happening. For one thing, the village pre-schoolers are scoring major bagfuls of hydrogenated corn syrup products on tour of campus offices and assembly. There comes a time when a fella's got to turn jack o' lantern carving over to his children. This year, my fifteen-year old daughter is in charge.

This was carved not by my daughter, but by Admission Assistant Faye Okma.
