Spring Family Weekend doesn't draw the crowd that we see in October, but this makes sense for many reasons: new kids have more than settled in; seniors tend to be all set; April in New England doesn't have the cachet of autumn. Nevertheless, we hosted a large crowd Friday and part of Saturday. It starts with parents tagging along with kids at classes. This is a mock jury wrestling with a verdict.



It makes sense to get outside, given the lack of seats for visitors in classrooms, and our preference for experience. This is an Earth Science class with parents.

At 10:15, we convene for the quintessential experience of Proctor: assembly. 



Any school can hold all-school meetings, but no school could replicate the vibe of acceptance and celebration we enjoy three times a week in the Norris Family Theater. 




Varsity boys lacrosse reminds the community of their fundraiser to fight breast cancer. The game against New Hampton will mean a lot, but we've got some priorities and values here.



Between scheduled events there's time for parents to hang our with their kids and meet their friends.

Now campus is almost abandoned, as most most students depart for a two-day break with parents and family. When they return Monday night, we'll start the sprint to the finish. Final exams start in one month!
