A hundred years ago, textile mills were equipped with Flather Machine Screw lathes to thread things, and manufacture parts for machinery. Charles Flather, great-grandson of the founder of Nashua's lathe industry, has made a contribution to our machine shop, while finding a new home for our Flather lathe at the New England Textile Museum in Lowell. Here he is (below, right) with machine shop instructor Everett Jones '57 examining our baby just before it was shipped off to Lowell this morning.
Here's the answer to world strife: airlift thousands of black lab pups in to Palestine, and have the Muslims and Jews play with them together! When she woke up this morning, Lou Moses had no idea she was going to adopt a puppy. Then she helped Alex bring her brood to Proctor Day Care. Observe:
