Brenda Godwin, whose father Leon Cangiano was a trustee forever back in Lyle Farrell's days, is a history teacher, Adobe Photoshop teacher, and yearbook editor. She also has coordinated the Proctor Invitational Golf Tournament over ten years to the point that one hundred folks teed off Thursday at noon. Conditions could not have been better, and a grand time was had by all. I spent the afternoon dodging drives in a cart with Brenda distributing sandwiches and beverages to contestants. The start looked like something from a racetrack: "Gentlemen, start your engines."
The tournament is so successful that some of the area's finest golfers are out there for PA. Chris Bartlett '86 and Liam Donaghue '87 played, too.
Here is our Head of School sinking a long one on the ninth green.
Congratulations to all, and in particular, to Brenda, who has seen this event grow into a significant Proctor tradition!
