A few short hours after the busses roll for Winter Break the faculty erupts in the traditional (!) dinner dance party in Cannon Dining Room. Those of us who cook commandeer the kitchen under the charge of Business Manager Donald Macdonald. The fare includes beef tenderloin and lobster. Tunes are ably generated by The Flames, a good dance band that should not be confused with James Brown's Famous Flames. A roving mike makes the rounds as we dance, providing Rick Browner and Lynne Hueber (that's a sombrero in back) the chance to share:
Accomplished rock musician Jeremy Hill '91 accompanied sister Jen '88 (who teaches Spanish here) and her fiance David Spear.
Jeremy will be traveling this winter with a production of
