Bonus reflections
10/29/2001

This is Bonus Weekend, and--with the exception of the occasional yelp from the Health Center--all is quiet.

On Thursday, we gathered in the Norris Family Theater for "Songs and Remembrance," an evening of music, poetry and readings commemorating September 11. It was dignified, emotional and serene.

A joyous e-mail post from the Health Center announces "Flu vaccinations are here!" Not wanting to be left out, the Development Office hurried over this afternoon for shots. Lorraine Roberts is a pleasant and mild-mannered professional until armed (sorry) with a syringe.....

English teacher John Pendleton reads Jane Kenyon's "Let Evening Come" at Thursday's memorial assembly.
The Faculty Chorus accompanied by Debra Nesbitt playing the new Yamaha upright piano.
Lorraine gets this weird expression on her face....
This won't hurt a bit...
