About 150 Friends of Proctor gathered at the Seaport Hotel last night to kick-off the Campaign for Proctor. Co-host John Fitzpatrick P'03 introduced co-host Edward Johnson '83, who told the story of the campaign consultant whose feasibility study shocked us into thinking big: he figured we could raise fifteen to twenty million dollars. Now we're announcing a campaign goal of thirty million!

Capital campaigns usually have a "case statement" that assures potential donors that the school is about to change--usually in a manner that revolutionizes education everywhere. We don't plan to change Proctor, however. Instead, this campaign will "turn up the volume" of Proctor....letting us do better what we do.
