Day Picnic
8/29/2000

The Day Student Picnic was fun and successful last night. Our day numbers have climbed to 74, and the competition for admission for day spaces is tough!

New faculty orientation always includes a scavenger hunt, which familiarizes new comers with places like The Red Building (it's white,) and various offices and departments about campus. Athletic co-director Traci Thirdgill came by paired with Andy Donaldson '92. Lou had prepared goodie bags.

Andy, recently signed on as an intern in Admissions, joins a fast-growing population of alumni working at Proctor. In the Development Office alone, I was able to cluster the following group of Proctor graduates:

Office volunteer Katie Kidder Hildner '91, new Admission intern Andy Donaldson '92, and Gifts Officers Greg Samaha '71, Kate Shaughnessey Smith '91, and Keith Barrett '80 together in the Development Office this morning.

Day dads Mike Cave P'00 & P'03, Dan Wolf P'03, Pete Hoglund P'02 manned the grill.
Day girls feigned interest in adult speeches.
Terry Stoecker, Lou Moses and Bev Wolf (P'03)picking trash for recyclables! It isn't easy being green!
Senior Greg Gagne had his eye on some school pens.
