JV Boys' and Girls' soccer teams won the season's first on-campus athletic contests yesterday, but there are many other sports happening if you know where to look. Here's Admission guy Chris Bartlett '88 congratulating game MVP Dan Feutz '05 (left, with skateboard):

The boys' team was cheered on persuasively by field hockey stars Masaphilile Dlamini, Nancy Coxe and Lily Ellis:

The sport of animal watching has captured local attention as a variety of rare species have been sighted recently. A bald eagle is hanging around Highland Lake, a beaver was trapped at Proctor Pond last night (and happily relocated), and a gaggle of wild turkeys is running around (Benjamin Franklin's nomination for national symbol in place of the aforementioned eagle). Here is Nelson Makechnie '18 sporting a new Mickey Mouse outfit:

Dan Risotti advances the ball against White Mountain's varsity on Carr Field.
James and Mike have invented a dangerous new sport.
Eddie is promoting frisbee/skateboarding.
The other white meat: local gobblers.
