Working in groups with a 6:1 student:faculty ratio, this week's projects allow us to explore highly focused activites with real depth. This is a time to drop our routine behaviors, transcend childish inhibitions and throw oneself into something new, something different. Education as art. In the biodiesel project, Tommy and Eben heat cooking oil and separate glycerine (which becomes soap) from potential fuel.
