Where's Waldo?
1/7/2003

I'm out of state at conferences for a week, and am desperately pleading students to send me images I can fabricate into Corners that would sate my demanding audience. So far, I have received an image of a kid in a gorilla suit, which I plan to show you tomorrow. In the meantime, let's play this game: where's Chuck? You respond at the bottom with "comments." Here are some hints. It's below 30 degrees at night and my buddies are driving on a beach in a convertible.

This place is befowled with gulls; more than you would find even at your landfill. A walk on the beach is a nightmare.

Darwinian theory teaches that feeding gulls minimizes the chance for perpetuating your gene pool. This unfortunate fellow risked his life and learned the lesson the hard way:

Jim proves that they don't tow your car at this place. Is that a clue?
Disobey this sign, and you're in deep trouble.
The place I'm staying at is no dive. You need to wear a shirt and some shoes.
Here's a clue: the pool is drained for the winter.
The jacuzzi, too. We're having a great time.
Ultimate hint: "The Flight of the Navigator" was filmed just south of here.
