Garry George and somebody named Russ are busy prepping the site of the new rope tow ski lift at the foot of the Slalom Trail.
This lift will serve the ski jump--which is immediately to the left--while providing beginners access to the lower slope. In addition, the walls of the lift trail should attract snowboarders!

Speaking of sports, Proctor is hosting a 7-team softball tournament from area girls' camps today.
While some teams warmed up with infield practice, the team at left--from Camp Coniston--practiced high-fives!
Their confidence was justified as they squeezed out a victory over Camp Evergreen.
