Canadian Retreat.
Keith Barrett drove us to Lou Moses's home on the lovely shores of Lake Massawippi in one of the school's new minibuses Wednesday. We met on a veranda overlooking the lake, and discussed new strategies for office functioning. We accomplished a great deal, and had a fine time. Lou treated us to the finest local foods. It turns out Canadians call "artificial flavors" "simulated flavors." Keith loved them:
Despite the rural nature of the site, we were in constant communication with civilization.
Greg Samaha showed us this nifty way to fold a towel.
Despite the work schedule, we managed to enjoy several hilarious excursions in Lou's boats.
Lou's dog Sebastian--a feature in our office--is extraordinary. He is eight years old, and just now learning to fly.
