Bereft of such distraction today, one is drawn to the inner workings of the place... the pulse of Buildings & Grounds.... It looks like a good sized meteorite is cooling in a crater next to the Chapel. The authorities have cordoned off the site with snowfence and police tape.
On closer inspection, a steam valve is leaking badly, but the parts got lost in shipment, or the contractor is dragging his/her heels.
Some may be surprised to know that the Proctor Block building--home to Admissions and Development--is inhabited by a bunch of rats. Or it was, at least. We have reason to believe that at least one of our intruding rodents is singing with the Heavenly Choir. Once again, the contractor (this one belongs to the rodent-removal guild) is disappointing us.
