November 16 is a date we have been anticipating for a long time. It was October of '01 when trustee Katie Kidder Hildner '91 called, having connected with two of Teddy Maloney's best Proctor friends, and spilled her idea: they would lead a project to build a new hockey rink at Proctor, and dedicate it to Teddy Maloney. Today at 4:00, we do it.
Captain of our 1988 boys hockey team, Teddy was on the 105th floor of Tower One on September 11, working for Cantor Fitzgerald.
WMUR television news did a spot last night at 11, and several media will be this afternoon when more than 300 witness Teddy's wife and very young daughters drop the puck in a ceremony before a "friendly" between Teddy's Rye (NY) Roadrunners and a Proctor alumni team.
Stay tuned!
