Inside Scoop
9/20/2005

It is a rainy Tuesday in the Blackwater River Valley, and the forecast is for thunderstorms later. Today's images are all in-doors. Biology students are reviewing the scientific method by observing the cohesive and adherent properties of water, which result from the polarized nature of the H2O molecule. These properties break down with the introduction of soap, and are not found in vinegar.

Downstairs in the same Shirley Hall, Phill casts an eye at my intrusion of precalculus.

Just down the hall, we encounter some dramatic spirit in algebra 2.

Across North Street, Erin and Jack get work done in a now-quiet Community Center.

Adjusting to a new school poses many challenges, like how to deal with Edna's unlimited supply of cookies. These ninth graders are doing their best.
