Sunapee Retreat.
When he stepped down as Board Chair a few years ago, John Pendleton endowed a special annual Board retreat in perpetuity. Today, a group of 85 trustees, faculty, parents and students met in the ski lodge at Mt. Sunapee for a visioneering process facilitated by Jane LaPoint. Issues ranged from burnout prevention to the future of Proctor athletics. The greatest challenge was coping with temperatures near 90 degrees.
Tomorrow we concentrate on future goals and new ways to articulate the mission statement.
