Leadership Survives.
Ferries packed with pilgrims always capsize off Sri Lanka or in the mouth of the Ganges. Maybe that's why I was so anxious this afternoon when the Board of Trustees and entire administration set off on the dangerously top-heavy motor vessel Mt. Kearsarge for an evening cruise of potentially challenging Lake Sunapee.
As you can tell from the camera angle,
I was not aboard, opting to ensure some slight continuity of leadership if the worst were to happen. From a distance, the boat seemed out of control at times, although those aboard were oblivious to my concerns on debarkation.
