In the hours since June arrived, the rain stopped; the sun came out; temperatures soared; lilacs bloomed; tents went up for graduation lunch (Saturday,) and this campus took on the feel of summer. Students are in final exams. There's a tendency to think of exams as "tests," but it's also valid to see them as one of many opportunities to demonstrate achievement. These young ladies are studying together in the library conference room:

Senior projects are other opportunities to demonstrate achievement. For some--like Matt Carpenter--it provides a chance to complete a task started almost two years ago, such as this cedar strip canoe:
