As we near the end of any trimester, student achievement in the arts is everywhere. On Saturday evening, the spring art show dominated the Wise Community Center. One of the projects on display featured heads comprised of mixed media in the fashion of the 16th-Century proto-surrealist Giuseppe Arcimboldo, here appreciated by Deb Nesbitt and Lee Carvalho:

One of the accomplishments of the past decade has been the integration of the arts into the academic curriculum. Here's Danny shooting Sean for a film in Spanish class.

Below, we see students from Spanish classes and steel drum band studying Cuban percussion from alumna Lindsay Schust '96:

Proctor Chorus and the jazz/rock band traveled to Agawam, Massachusetts, Friday to participate in the annual High Point Musical Festival. Judges awarded the band a rating of "excellent;" the Alice Fowler Singers scored "superior."
