Jay brought the results of our personality preference tests to the Development Office's annual Retreat-a-topia in North Hatley, Quebec. It turns out that I'm the type of person who finds meetings to plan the future to be boring. Just the jargon gives me the creeps; my blood pressure skyrockets at the mention of "Housekeeping Details" and "Nuts & Bolts." Anyways, it was a great experience....full of hard work...and I'm certain that we are all better for it. Here is a "Breakout Session" on Lou's dock:
We engaged in exercises to identify the words and concepts that drive every part of our work as we customize relationships with our constituents. For example, we ask "What do we want our donors to experience each time we communicate with them?"
Perhaps, "You're a TIGER!"
Check back on Monday for "Adventure to Ripplecove."
