Traditional holiday observance.

It is reflective of our rich cultural diversity that we anticipate the onset of Lent in such unique and charming ways. In New Orleans, people hoard dime-store beads; in Seattle, Mardi Gras is an opportunity to riot. In Segovia, we dress up like this:

I look forward to Lent with a more traditional carnival: engorging with meat. While there's a ham sitting in the front of my fridge, at the dining room we're obviously down-playing the whole thing....although you can find beef fajitas.

While the photo below looks right out of the Big Easy, it's actually the touring theater's production of Robin Hood in assembly, with Steve Wilkins recruited to play the role of King Richard.

Lunch! The traditional hunk of red meat.
At the dining hall, you'll find the usual array of lunch meats.
