Affinity group photos.
The yearbook office is always calling for specific groups of people to pose for photos after assembly. Like everything else, it's gotten out of control. Here are people ("legacies" in prep vernacular) with sibling or parent ties to Proctor in yearbook black & white:
Then there are friends of Joe Anderson. You see, there's something exceptional about Joe. He's a senior...a good hockey goalie...but there's something charismatic about Joe that makes people want to carry him around on their backs. Here is the yearbook photo of Friends of Joe:
