Take My Picture!

When one of these pages has been up for more than 48 hours, I can become irritable and anxious, so I knew I had to produce today. But then there was the matter of getting reacquainted with my Primary Care Physician this morning followed by Kim Hurlbutt's birthday lunch at Concord's Red Apple Buffet (where you serve yourself all the Chinese you can keep down for $6.55) and I didn't even pick up my camera till about 2 PM. Happily, I stumbled upon a riot of candid opportunities and an uncommon number of students demanding that they be featured on Chuck's Corner.

This must be what happens to kids when they're on vacation....they fantasize being on the web. Here, Hallie and Kathryn feign great interest in new texts:

Slade is a fine athlete, and a fine football player. Maybe that's why he didn't want me to include this photo....

In the Norris Family Theater, I found Sam--a very talented musician--alone, practicing on the Yamaha grand.

Anthony made it very clear that he wanted to be on the page, and I try to keep Anthony happy.
Another Anthony wasn't so sure, but Ian knew what he wanted.
Alex was equally opinionated.
Luke. Posed.
On the other hand, this candid of L.J. at the whiteboard was shot through the window in the door of Room 12.
Evan and Santi are focused on making music come out of saxaphones.
Josh is oblivious to the camera.
The same Kathryn squealing about her text (above, left) is captured in the dance studio only minutes later.
I've never met anyone with a better ear for music than Sam.
This should make Slade feel a little better.
