Climatologists understand that abnormal weather is perfectly normal; there's nothing odd about the March-like conditions that have turned this vacant campus into a muddy, grimey puddle. Work continues on classrooms 8-11 (the English Department is moving back) so North Street is crowded with work vehicles.
Meanwhile, the new Wise Community Center is lagging a couple of weeks behind, so the center of campus is still a mess.
In a recent page entitled Valuing Intangible Assets, I noted that Proctor is many things at the same time, including a business. Upstairs, the Development Office is operating with the hammer down, as annual giving tracks 79% ahead of last year, with $523,000 in (and six months to go!).
