We don't have a lot of free time. Aside from Sundays, most down time is over dinner, between afternoon activities and study hall. During these precious hours some meet with teachers for extra help; some work on play rehearsal, and many hang out in the community center, socializing. It's a great time to wander about with a camera documenting residential life in its most casual, raw manifestation.
Last night, students taught me a new term: the verb "to photo bomb." Photo bombing (here used as a gerund--a verb used as a noun) is the act of lurking or sneaking into the background of a photograph. It's fun and easy to do!
As you can see, some students are very good photo bombers. Here's Eli and Richard. Richard has an injured wrist.

To prove the efficiency of debris nests to warm wildlife, Wildlife Science students are constructing a hut with very thick walls packed with leaves. Students who spend a night camping in the hut get a boost to their effort grade!
