Let's get this out of the way. These are friends of Zach:

Winter term is different because we have an 18-day break after 18 days of the trimester. Winter Break begins today, Friday, at noon.

In its wisdom, the faculty--under Patty Pond's orchestration--pulls off a hilarious rendition of The Twelve Day Of Christmas every year since 2009. These are partridges in pear trees.....

PartidgesPears

Our "Three French hens" featured a terrified 12-year-old layer named "Thelma" and a mounted specimen from the wildlife office that definitely didn't qualify for mashed potatoes and gravy.

H
appy Holidays to all Friends of Proctor. As Mike wrote in today's parent page, the greatest gift we can give is the gift of time we share with those we love. I hope that Proctor students take the time to tell parents or--even more powerful--a grandparent or two, about their lives. That would be a great gift.

Frankie accompanies Cayleigh on "All I Want For Christmas Is You."
FoodDrive
Edna Peters, her grand-daughter Haley and Nathan French ask for donations to the highly-successful Andover Food Bank. This initiative has yielded $500 already! A great example of "Think globally; act locally."
BakeSale
Students purchase baked goods after assembly. Edna's cookies are available!
PAPA
Thank you, Parent Association, for coordinating all of the parent-donated treats for the faculty room this week!
