Suddenly, it seems, March is upon us and winter term is ending. The final weekend of a trimester is called a "campus weekend," meaning that all boarders are here to finish in strong fashion. This term we're taking final tests rather than exams. Seemingly constant snowfall can't stop Caleb from studying geometry while crossing North Street.
Due to superior conditions here, Putney School "hosted" the Lakes Region cross country ski championship at the Blackwater. The boys' team nipped Holderness to win, while Maddie Pfeifer finished undefeated!
It was a messy start for this team....
The winter art show drew a good crowd to Slocumb Hall Friday evening.
The student rock band "Pillbug Light Reaction" entertained a crowd in the Wise Center.
The Chamber Choir performed in the Stone Chapel Sunday afternoon, accompanied by a string quartet and flute on some pieces.
Volunteers coordinated by Proctor Academy Parent Association organized the annual "PAPA On Ice" skating party in Teddy Maloney Rink Saturday night.
The event drew approximately 150 students of all skating abilities for an evening of fun, music and food. Members of the boys' varsity team were stylin'!
