Most new students are hiking and camping in the White Mountains this week, orienting to Proctor in its human terms. They return Sunday afternoon, as do the remainder of the student population. Meanwhile, some experienced an early orientation hike last week, and joined other aspiring varsity athletes for sports camps.
One hundred and twenty-three students are spending this week training, conditioning and working on skills. Seventeen girls are back for field hockey camp.
