Organized preparations for a new school year commence three weeks before classes meet. Eight highly talented new teachers spent last Thursday and Friday in a formal orientation process, with a series of panel discussions.

The value of the June Retreat needs to be shared with the faculty, so music director Bill Wightman led us on his hilarious jazz composition entitled "Sweet Retreat." Lyrics told the whole story: the future of residential life....budgetary realities. Some tried to sing along.
