It rained Saturday. Down at Buildings & Grounds, they kept a tally of rain guage readings over 24 hours: 5 1/2 inches by 9:30 PM...another 3 inches by 6:30 AM...another quarter inch by 1:30.... All athletic contests were cancelled except football, which was a sloppy game.

It was a good weekend to stay indoors. This crowd found something exciting on line in the Community Center:

Proctor Pond flooded over its spillway, and water rose to the steps of Shirley Hall, forcing Sunday morning parent/teacher conferences to be moved elsewhere.

Proctor enjoys a very large number of siblings and legacies. Amy Gerry '84 is the aunt of Ebby, shown studying hard in Structured Study Hall:
