String Theory

Today we're posting fourteen images that don't have much stringing them together. Let's try, though. In Tuesday's all-school assembly, Forrest and Luke entertained us with three selections of accoustic grundge.

From Proctor in Segovia comes this image of our students studying Spanish guitar from a gentleman named Gaspar.

Still in Spain we see Ian with his Spanish parents. Mom is serving up sopa sabrosa.

We have several Ians at Proctor. Before the start of zoology, Ian (right) lectures on body parts with help from Evan, who is identifying the appendix.

Speaking of body parts, here is our Ski Patrol practicing their response to Saka running over Jack on a wide track snowmobile.

It's all work and no play for Chris and Ryan in the library.
In the boatshop, Westy's hard at work on his oak strip ocean kayak.
Outside the boatshop, Greg demonstrates how to sand excess glue off the seams of Sam's kayak.
When Mountain Classroom sent a box to the community containing this tumbleweed, the plan was to let it blow around campus until it was commandeered by Derek Mansell.
Across campus at The Blackwater, Proctor hosted the State J2 Championships. Ian, a J1 skier (pictured in the zoology photo) did some fore runs.
Back in zoology, Natale models a mink specimen.
Behaving in weasel-like fashion, an unidentified ice climber burrows head-first into a crevasse.
Charlie shares a laugh with his Spanish mother.
Jack sacrificing his body under a snowmobile.
