The notion of commiting to several hours on a boat, splashing around the north Atlantic with 20 others, lost its appeal for me years ago, when a large crew from Proctor ventured on a whale watch expedition out of Rye Harbor and ended up losing a lot of weight in a hurry. Nevertheless, a slideshow in today's assembly documented a happy and successful fishing adventure Sunday.

Only one slide--that of some raw bait cut up in a bucket--caused a wave a nausea to pass through the throng.

We love our kitchen crew, and they respond with innovative, varied cuisine. Some dishes, such as customized stir-fry, is labor intensive.

Here's a picture of Hadley and Perry wrestling for control of John Pellett's chrome bike:

We love our kitchen crew. Ed Barkowski tends some scrambled eggs.
Don displays a name-your-own-ingredients stir-fry.
The aroma of garlic and olive oil filled the dining room when Gregor Makechnie offered a recent pasta bar.
A new "panini grill" enables students to make their own--well--paninis.
This image of raw bait prompted an almost-audible gag reflex in today's assembly.
Josh won an ornate award in assembly for landing a shark on Sunday's trip.
And Sam landed this thing.
Tastes like chicken: Tommy approaches a frog in Proctor Pond with stealth, patience and lightening-fast hands.
