Without a great deal of fanfare, Proctor's boys' varsity tennis has gone undefeated thusfar in a tough league. Here's Cole serving it up behind Jeremy at Saturday's win over Tilton.

Ryan, who plays #2, said his dad would get a kick out of it if I put his picture on the page. Nice backhand.

With a grand total of nine girls out for softball, no one knew what to expect. They have won a slew of games, have dropped only two (I think), and have the league's dominent pitcher in Erin B, who struck out 10 in her last outing:

Nine juniors delivered speeches to the community as candidates for the position of School Leader for 2004-05. Each address was delivered with poise, conviction and genuine affection for the community.

I am on the road for a few days, and will post the next Corner on Saturday afternoon, May 15, with images from my travels.

Sarah. Nine juniors came forward to speak on their qualifications to be School Leader.
Rob. Each spoke of his/her love for the school and its ideals.
Brittany. Each reflected on how communication and action might be advanced.
Patrick. More than anything else, the speeches provide a brief window into the nature of each individual.
