Student Activities and the Deans of Students Offices orchestrated the annual "Love Grams" exchange, and 1,000 carnations communicated affection and love.
The sense of bon ami is not ubiquitous, however. No, we've found a way to irritate students. Most of the time--but not always--the fabulous jukebox recently installed in the new Community Center wants to be fed money, prompting a poster campaign across campus demanding "Free The Music". It seems Student Activities invested hundreds of dollars in CDs, and is trying to recoup, but students have "days" of music on laptops, hours on Walkmans, and all the cards in their hands, if you know what I'm sayin'. Below: "Gee, I'd like to hear some music, but I don't have any money...."
