We hosted a big cross country race Wednesday.
When I was a kid, there was a lame TV show called "Candid Camera" that embarrassed unwitting subjects of photography. Now that everyone walks around with a camera, the thrill of such a show is long gone (if it ever existed.) Without much effort, I've been capturing many images of people slipping and falling on walkways coated in sheer ice.
I used to think that my photography was candid. I creep around stealthily, zoom in great distances, and shoot silently.
Self defense (afternoon activity) uses focused meditation to relax before working out. I snuck in.
Over time, however, having your image appear on this site has gained a certain
cachet among some students. They make demands, note "It's been years since I was on Chuck's Corner," or pose in a manner that should seal the deal. These students in Engineering are building robots that will compete at Phillips Academy Sunday.
Student Activities apparently offered apples after assembly....
Including a golden retriever is a surefire strategy.
I will be attending a conference out-of-state for the next several days, and will probably post the next Corner on Wednesday evening.
